Today we learned about some of the physics principles behind the launch and flight of a rocket. Students used a NASA tutorial to go through some of the basics including conservation of momentum to understand why water is used instead of air to make the rockets fly higher. Check the Documents Tab for the worksheet that was used in class. The links to the tutorial are on the right side of this page.
Next week we will be building the second rocket...be ready with supplies if needed!
