After going over and turning-in the Energy Pie Chart document, we started a new activity with bouncing balls. In groups, students will be investigating different variables that affect how much energy a ball loses when it is dropped from a height onto a surface. The instructions are on the documents tab.
We will continue with the data-taking next week. If you missed the review session on using Excel, you might want to view a tutorial on how to use simple formulas, and make a bar chart. Check out this photo showing the deformation of a golf ball being hit by a club. Crazy!
