I know that all of you were probably very busy over break, but I hope you got a chance to sleep-in, and have a little break from the usual school schedule. I went to visit my roommate from college...we were placed together freshman year, and roomed together all four years of college! Be ready to make some life-long friends in the years to come. I also got a chance to visit the beautiful and tall trees in Big Basin Redwoods State Park in California. Unbelievable...
These trees are around 200+ feet tall (~65 meters)! That means it takes a drop of water over 3 seconds to fall from the top of the tree to the ground...ignoring air resistance. I'm looking forward to hearing about how each of you spent the break.
