Today we discussed the general properties of horizontal projectiles. Remember that there is a tutorial on the Video tab which goes over this information.
Then students learned how to use a Vernier Photogate and are working to recreate the Thelma and Louise demo that I showed in class. The goal is for students to be able to predict where a toy car will land based on knowing the initial horizontal velocity.
A sheet of problems was distributed, Horizontal Projectile Problems, which is due on Friday. Oct. 21.
